About Us
Our Mission
To provide the highest quality pediatric dental care to your infant, child, teenager or those with special needs, in a nurturing, fun, child-friendly environment.
Our Philosophy
We believe that early and regular dental care can eliminate most dental problems. We encourage early dental care and recommend the first visit by the age of 1, with regular continuous preventive care thereafter. Regular dental visits allow us to monitor each child’s dental development, oral hygiene and nutritional status, and allow us to educate both the parent and the child in proper oral hygiene and nutrition. We want to see you and your child early to instruct you and your child on how to prevent cavities. By being proactive we believe we can prevent most dental problems and provide you and your child with dental care that is more effective, less costly and less stressful.
The First Visit
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and Dr. Marc recommend that the child’s first visit to the dentist be within 6 months of the eruption of the first primary (baby) tooth or by one year of age, whichever comes first. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that a child be evaluated by a qualified oral health care provider by 6 months of age. Early evaluation and education may prevent many dental problems from developing. This initial appointment is designed to be an educational process wherein we can learn about you and your child and where parents can be informed about proper oral hygiene, use of the bottle and/or pacifier and teething issues.
